Do you scare away children and lovers when you sleep and you
don’t know why? Have you been told that you snore and still choose to believe
that people tease about that sort of thing? Have you snored so loud that you woke
yourself up at one point? You might have a problem sweetheart. Fortunately,
there are some easy and…not so easy natural solutions to decrease and in some
cases eliminate your snoring problems easily.
Cut Out Bad Habits
1.
Don’t Eat
A Heavy Meal or Drink Alcohol 3 Hours Before Sleeping. Doing either of
these activities can cause your throat muscles to relax more than normal, which
leads to snoring
2. Shed Some Weight. Women are beautiful
no matter what size they may be however sometimes our bodies have ways of
letting us know when our weight has gone from natural to excessive. Snoring is
one of those ways. Losing 10% of your body weight if you are overweight can
help ease the constricting of the upper airways.
3. Quit Smoking. Tobacco smoke swells the
throat and narrows the airways, because the smoke irritates the mucous
membrane.
Get In a Good
Position
1. Prop Yourself Up. Rather than lying
flat on your back when you sleep, buy some extra pillows and prop yourself up!
It will prevent tissues in your throat from blocking your airways.
2. Sleep On Your Side. When you sleep on
you back it causes your tongue and part of your palate to rest against the back
of your throat, blocking you airway, so if possible sleep on your side. If your
bed is against a wall or chest, prop your back up against it so you don’t roll
over. Or sew a pocket on your pillow and place a tennis ball in it so if you
begin to roll on your back during your slumber, you will hit the tennis ball,
prompting you to move back into position.
Get Your Nose
Together
1. Fight Nasal Congestion. Take a
decongestant or antihistamine
before you go to sleep if you are dealing with a stuff nose.
2. Nasal Strip It Up. Buy some nasal strips at your local
drug store. They lift open the nostrils and increase airflow.
3. Gargle with Peppermint Mouthwash. Do
this before you go to bed and it shrinks the lining of the nose and throat..
